Welcome to the Red Sleigh Inn; Lincoln’s newest contactless, boutique inn. Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains, the Red Sleigh Inn blends old-world charm with modern amenities, a convenient launching point to discover everything that Lincoln has to offer. At the Red Sleigh Inn, guests enjoy spacious shared living areas in an historic colonial home and the privacy of their own suites. The inn is perfectly positioned - just minutes from popular breweries, restaurants, and shopping, while tucked away in a peaceful setting with sublime mountain and garden views.

A Lincoln Classic: The Red Sleigh Inn, a historic home, was built in 1902 as the primary residence for James E. Henry and his family. Henry was best known for his logging legacy and controversial methods. Often, he was referred to as a "wood butcher". Why? For clear-cutting the local forests. Ironically, his home pays homage to wood with woodworking craftsmanship, beautiful hardwood floors, and ornate moldings.

Shared spaces with shared amenities: Guests are invited to enjoy the common areas:

- Meander along the private garden paths; enjoy English-style gardens that bloom from spring through fall.
- Gather around the fire pit for drinks before dinner.
- Savor a cup of coffee and a fellow traveler’s story around the dining table.

The Red Sleigh Inn is near downtown Lincoln, a short stroll from Main Street with many restaurants and shops. The Red Sleigh Inn is two miles from Loon Mountain Ski Resort, less than 10 minutes from Franconia Notch State Park and Cannon Mountain Ski Resort, and Bretton Woods Ski Resort is only 35 minutes north.

The Red Sleigh Inn offers five private rooms, all accompanied with private bathrooms. Each room is designed to provide a comfortable, clean, and cozy accommodation.

The Paris room is ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape. Designed to make you feel as though you've stepped into a hidden gem, right in the heart of Paris. Located on the first floor, looking onto the front garden, this room offers a queen bed and electric fireplace. The en suite bathroom has a large, two person Jacuzzi tub as well as a separate corner shower. The crystal ceiling lights can be dimmed to create a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing soak in the tub with accompanied bath salts.

THE BIRCH ROOM

The Birch Room is located on the second floor. This large, bright, and inviting room has a king bed with a memory foam mattress atop a new hardwood frame, a cozy sitting area and corner desk . The en-suite bathroom is newly renovated with a brand new shower, new fixtures and fresh paint. The two large windows in the bedroom offer a view of the front garden and the "First Ledge" mountain.

THE KORU ROOM

The Koru Room, named after the Koru fern from New Zealand - has the meaning of 'new life, new beginnings,' is located on the second floor. This charming, cozy, newly redecorated room has a queen size memory foam mattress, a comfortable remodeled reading chair and a desk, a portable electric heater for the cold months, and a/c for the summer. The two windows offer views of "First Ledge" mountain as well as the back garden. The newly renovated private en-suite bathroom has a corner tiled shower.

THE THISTLE ROOM

The Thistle Room is located on the second floor, this large, bright room offers a king size bed with a memory foam mattress, electric fireplace, walk in closet, and two windows that look out to the front garden and panoramic view of Moosilauke Mountain where the sunsets are amazing. The newly renovated private bathroom, located approx. 6 feet across the hall, has a sliding glass door that looks out to the back garden. This room DOES NOT have an en-suite bathroom. ​ The bathroom has a keycode lock - only guests of Thistle Room will have access to this bathroom.

THE GREAT NORTH SUITE

The newly renovated Great North Suite is located on the third floor, this large room has a king bed and twin bed (for an extra 3rd person - extra person fee applies). The suite has a private lounging area with two arm chairs and an electric fireplace to relax and enjoy the spacious, great room. It has 3 windows which look out to the back garden, the front garden and First Ledge Mountain. The Suite has it's own private bathroom immediately outside the room. When you rent the Great North Suite you have the whole third floor to yourself! If you would like to add an additional 3rd person (extra person fee applies), please contact us directly.

THE MAPLE SUITE

All new, renovated Maple Suite is located on the first floor. This large first floor unit has a bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette, and spacious bath. It has large windows which look out to the front garden and the back garden. The Suite has it's own private bathroom. When you rent the Maple Suite you have the whole private wing to yourself!

The renovation just completed in fall of 2022. The suite enjoys a private entrance into your private sitting area with bistro dining set. The spacious couch converts into a queen sized bed for an additional 2 guests. Enjoy the view of the back garden out the sliding glass doors, or snuggle up and enjoy the warmth of your gas stove fireplace.
